Kai von Pahlen

Kai is a Partner at Buckles Law. He specialises in advising on, drafting and negotiating construction & engineering contracts and also handles disputes using various dispute resolution procedures such as adjudication, mediation, expert determination, arbitration and court proceedings in the TCC. He acted for the successful appellant in Abbey vs Simply [2024], a landmark judgment by which the Supreme Court clarified the relationship between construction contracts and collateral warranties. He is a specialist practice consultant for the RIBA and previously taught module one of the ICE Law and Contract Management Certificate.
